About BAY
The Belmopan Active Youths (BAY) was founded in April 2012 by Mrs. Anna Banner- Guy. With her new portfolio of youth development, City Councillor Banner-Guy intended to learn more about the youth population's challenges and opportunities
within her community. With a mission to EDUCATE, ENGAGE and EMPOWER the youths of Belmopan and its surrounding communities, since its inception, BAY has and continues to impact and invest in youths through the development of positive programs and recreational activities. To date, the organization has directly engaged over six hundred young people through its
various programs including the BAY Marching Band and Dance Group, its Community Park Rehabilitation Program, its sporting initiatives, its Youth Drug Demand Reduction Project, its Job Creation, and Entrepreneurship Development Project, it’s Literacy for
Progress Project and most recently its Violence Reduction Project. Led by a passionate group of young leaders, the organization continues to utilize and celebrate the potential and talent of youths by bringing their ideas to life, involving them in planning and decision-making, and honing their leadership skills while engendering a spirit of volunteerism. Though it is a youth group, BAY has welcomed the assistance and expertise of adult community members who have and continue to participate in the organization’s various programs, as leaders and mentors.

ALIKAH JONES It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
